Cross table Fervi T008

What it is

Cross slide table Fervi T008 is a machine tool accessory that allows controlled movement of the workpiece along two orthogonal directions. It features a 16 mm slot with a slot centre distance of 75 mm, a height of 130 mm and travel of 120 x 325 mm, with a base hole centre distance of 162 mm that makes it easy to secure. The net weight of 23 kg provides a stable base during machining.

The cross slide table is a table with two perpendicular slides, moved by graduated handwheels, fitted on a pillar drill or milling machine to move the workpiece precisely in two directions.

What it is for

Used for clamping workpieces, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools.

How to use it

Fix the table to the machine bed and clamp the workpiece on the table with a vice or clamps. Bring the workpiece to the working point with the handwheels, reading the dimensions on the graduations. Lock the slides that are not needed and keep the ways clean and lubricated.
