The tap extractor is a carbide tool that breaks up into fragments the remains of a broken tap left in the hole.
What it is for
Used in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts, in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for workshop and on-site repairs.
How to use it
Fit it to the machine and work in the hole at low speed, with lubricant. Remove the fragments with a magnet or compressed air, wearing safety glasses. Then check the thread and, if necessary, re-tap or repair it.
