What it is
Green rotary laser set. Key specifications: connection (in) 5/8, protection rating (IP) IP66.
A rotary laser level is an instrument that rotates the beam through 360 degrees to create a horizontal, vertical or sloped reference plane for setting levels and grading.
What it is for
Used for levelling surfaces and structures and for setting out, for taking measurements and levels in the field and for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.
How to use it
Mount it on a stable tripod, switch it on and wait for it to self-level. Read the levels with the receiver clamped to the grade rod, moving it to the points to be checked, and record the differences from the reference. Protect the instrument from knocks and vibration, which can put it out of calibration, and check its accuracy periodically.
