Test bench for breathing apparatus ARAC 2.5 Spasciani

What it is

The ARAC 2.5 by Spasciani is a test bench for checking and testing respiratory protective devices, the new generation of the ARAC 1 bench. It retains its rigid, inflatable test head and the flexibility of software and tests, with more automated functions for faster checks. It is run by an on-board computer with a touch screen, accepts mice, keyboards and barcode readers, and has an enhanced database for storing the checks.

The test bench for breathing apparatus is a workshop instrument that checks the tightness, pressures and alarms of masks and self-contained breathing apparatus.

What it is for

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for respiratory protection against dust, fumes and vapours.

How to use it

Connect the apparatus to the bench with suitable fittings and carry out the manufacturer's test sequence, comparing the measured values with the permitted ones. An apparatus that falls outside the limits must not be returned to service. Keep the bench level and clean, and have it checked at regular intervals. It is used by trained personnel.
