What it is

How to use it

To restore a damaged thread, drill the hole to the size specified for the insert and cut the new thread with the appropriate tap. Then screw in the insert with the dedicated tool to the stated depth, and remove the driving tang if there is one. The self-locking insert keeps the screw tight. Clean the hole and the thread before fitting.
