What it is
The B05/R05 C-GEAR set of ratcheting combination wrenches is the professional solution for quick work on medium-sized nuts and bolts. Designed for mechanics, maintenance staff and installers who require precision and versatility in a single compact kit.
A ratcheting combination spanner has an open end on one side and a ratcheting ring on the other, for running nuts without removing the spanner at every turn.
What it is for
Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter, in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.
How to use it
Set the direction of rotation with the lever, if fitted, or by turning the spanner over, and fit the ring fully onto the nut. Turn it with short back-and-forth movements, using the open end where the ring will not fit. Do not extend the handle and do not strike the spanner with a hammer, as this damages the mechanism.
