Under-bench safety cabinet for chemical liquids with 2 doors 1075x500x600 mm Carvel

What it is

Under-bench 2-door cabinet for chemical products, 600 mm high, to be placed under the worktop. It is made of steel with a corrosion-resistant polyethylene-based thermoplastic coating, with adjustable containment shelves, a leak-tight sump at the bottom and two side grilles with flame arrestors for air recirculation or forced extraction. It can be mounted on the wheeled base with tray CARR060C so it can be moved around the department.

Cabinets and lockers are metal or plastic units for storing clothing, tools and cleaning products and, in safety versions, hazardous substances such as acids and drums.

What it is for

Used for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Stand them on a level floor and fix tall, narrow units to the wall or floor to prevent tipping. In safety cabinets, keep incompatible products apart, for example acids and alkalis, observe the shelf load ratings and check the spill sump. Keep the doors closed and entrust the keys to designated staff.

Safe use

Connect the earthing cable and keep only mutually compatible chemicals in the same compartment. The liquid collected in the sump must be disposed of as waste according to the substance spilled.
