What it is

The adhesive base, or tie mount, is a small plate with a hole or slot through which the cable tie passes, to secure cables to a surface; the saddle is a similar support, to be fixed with adhesive or a screw.

What it is for

Used for wiring control panels and installations and in the installation and maintenance of residential and industrial electrical systems.

How to use it

Clean and degrease the surface, press the base down for a few seconds and wait for the adhesive to set before loading it. Then thread the cable tie through and tighten it. On rough or dusty surfaces, screw fixing is preferable.
