The bulb is the light source fitted into the lampholder of a fitting. It can be LED, filament, halogen or energy-saving and comes in different shapes, such as pear, globe, candle or reflector; some are dimmable.

How to use it

Check that the fitting, voltage and wattage match the lampholder and the luminaire. Replace it with the power off and the lamp cold, screwing or pushing it in without forcing. Dimmable versions need a compatible dimmer. When spent, dispose of them through electrical waste collection.
