A safety boot is an ankle-high safety shoe with a protective toecap that supports the ankle and, depending on its class, is penetration-resistant, water-repellent or ESD.
What it is for
Used to protect feet on site and on the shop floor against crushing, penetration and slipping and in welding and the work that goes with it.
How to use it
Choose the class according to the job's risks (for example S3 for construction sites, ESD for electronic components, chainsaw-protective for chainsaw work) and try on the size with your work socks. Lace up to the top to support the ankle properly. Clean and dry away from heat sources, and replace when the toecap, sole or upper is damaged.
