What it is

Tying wire, flat wire and cord are metal wires, galvanised or plastic-coated, on a reel, hank or spool, for tying plants, stakes and nets in the garden, vegetable plot and vineyard.

Used in grounds care, from routine maintenance to seasonal work, in horticulture and greenhouse production and in grounds maintenance, from regular mowing to the end-of-season clean-up.
How to use it
Choose the diameter and coating: galvanised wire for heavy-duty ties, plastic-coated wire or coated flat wire so as not to injure the plants. Cut to length with wire cutters or use with the wire twister. Tighten just enough, without strangling the stem and leaving room for growth. Store dry.
