What it is

Cement is a hydraulic binder in powder form that, when mixed with water and aggregates, sets and hardens; rapid-setting cement sets in a few minutes for small fixings and repairs, refractory cement withstands heat and white cement is used for finishing work.

What it is for

Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber, in masonry work, from laying blocks to filling chases and for workshop and on-site repairs.

How to use it

Mix it with clean water and, for mortars and concretes, with sand or aggregates depending on the use, mixing in a clean container until a uniform mix is obtained. Rapid-setting cements are prepared in small quantities because they set immediately. Wear gloves, safety glasses and a dust mask and dampen the substrate, protecting the pour from rapid drying.
