What it is

The Sydney model trowel by Co.Me (code 165) is the professional tool for plastering, finishing and spreading mortar on site. Designed for bricklayers, plasterers and restorers who need precision and durability in every application.

Trowels, spatulas and floats are steel or plastic hand tools for picking up, spreading, smoothing and finishing mortars, renders, adhesives and skim coats.

What it is for

Used for finishing plaster, from floating to smoothing, for plastering walls and ceilings, by hand or by machine and in masonry work, from laying blocks to filling chases.

How to use it

Choose the tool for the task: a bricklaying trowel for laying bricks and blocks, a smooth plastering trowel for skimming, a notched trowel for spreading tile adhesive. Pick up a little material at a time and work with the blade angled, going back over the area to even out the layer. At the end of the job, wash immediately with water, before the mortar hardens, and dry to prevent rust.
