What it is

Connector SILVERLIGHT 984 OPEN (code 102300900031) is an Irudek fall arrest connection system for fall protection. It is intended for professional use when working at height and in safety, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

A connector is a steel or aluminium karabiner or quick link that joins harness, lanyards and anchors in fall arrest and rope access systems.

How to use it

Choose a connector with a screw-lock or auto-locking gate suited to the application and check the conformity marking. Clip it so that the load acts along the major axis, never on the gate or crosswise, and always close the sleeve or check that the locking mechanism has engaged. Before each use, check the gate, spring and locking mechanism, and discard the connector after a fall or if it is deformed.
