Bench-top container for parts washing in solvent 4 L with flame arrester plate Carvel

What it is

Benchtop container for rinsing small parts in solvent. The part is placed on the spring-loaded plate, pushed down and swirled in the liquid; when the plate is released it rises and the part drains. The plate also acts as a flame arrester, the hinged lid reduces solvent evaporation and the rim is guarded so that hands are not injured.

A solvent is a liquid that dissolves grease, oils, adhesives, paints and stubborn dirt, for degreasing mechanical parts, cleaning surfaces and stripping paint.

What it is for

Used for workshop maintenance, for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal and for degreasing parts and surfaces.

How to use it

Check compatibility with the material on the safety data sheet and test first on an inconspicuous area of plastics and painted surfaces. Apply by brush, cloth, immersion or spray, leave to act, remove the dissolved dirt and let it evaporate completely before returning the part to service. Work with ventilation, away from flames, wearing gloves and safety glasses, and dispose of residues as special waste.
