What it is
The DeWalt DT2450-QZ blade is designed specifically for cutting insulating materials and is supplied in a pack of 2 pieces, with a length of 225 mm that provides a useful stroke suited to thick panels and slabs. The profile designed for insulation allows clean feed, reducing the fraying typical of these materials.
A reciprocating saw blade is a straight blade with a universal shank that fits a reciprocating saw for cutting wood, nail-embedded wood, metal, plastic and insulation.
What it is for
Used for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework and for cutting everyday site materials.
How to use it
Choose the blade by material and tooth pattern: coarse teeth for wood and demolition, fine teeth for metals, bi-metal for wood with nails. Insert it into the blade clamp with the saw unplugged until it locks, and rest the shoe on the workpiece before starting the cut. Work without forcing and replace the blade when the teeth are worn.
