What it is

The DeWalt DT4902-QZ drill bit is made of HSS-Co (cobalt high-speed steel) for drilling metal. It has a diameter of 3 mm, a working length of 33 mm and an overall length of 61 mm. How to use it

Mark the centre with a centre punch, clamp the workpiece and drill at a speed that is lower the larger the diameter and the harder the material. Maintain steady pressure, lubricate with cutting oil on steel and stainless steel and, for large diameters, drill a pilot hole first. Withdraw the bit frequently to clear the swarf, and never touch the swarf with bare hands.
