SDS Plus hollow bit 12 mm DeWalt DT60340-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT60340-QZ hollow drill bit has a 12 mm diameter and an SDS-Plus shank, designed for drilling masonry with standard rotary hammers. The carbide-tooth head with 2-cutter configuration ensures wear resistance and precise centring, while the working length of 200 mm over an overall length of 38.5 cm allows drilling suited to the most common fixings. The SDS-Plus shank ensures excellent transmission of the hammering action; the bit weighs 0.352 kg.

The drill bit with dust extraction is a bit with a hollow shank that collects the dust directly from the hole and carries it to the connected vacuum cleaner.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Connect the shank to the vacuum cleaner with the specified adapter and switch on the extraction before drilling. Drill with the hammer action, without forcing, keeping the bit in line. Check that the hose does not become blocked and empty the container. Even with extraction, wear a dust mask and goggles, because silica dust is harmful.
