Masonry drill bit DeWalt DT6560-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT6560-QZ masonry drill bit is a percussion drilling accessory with a diameter of 10 mm, designed for use with drills. With a working length of 80 mm and an overall length of 16 cm, it has a round shank and weighs 0.056 kg, and is suited to drilling concrete at a very widely used diameter.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
