What it is

The DeWalt DWD112S-QS compact rotary drill is a corded tool with a no-load speed of 0-2,500 rpm and variable speed, ideal for controlled drilling in metal and wood. The chuck with a 0-10 mm capacity and the maximum torque of 10.9 Nm guarantee a firm grip and power when drilling, with maximum capacities of 10 mm in metal, 25 mm in wood and 13 mm in masonry. Compact and easy to handle, it weighs 1.9 kg and measures 230 mm in length by 190 mm in height.

The rotary drill is an electric drill with rotation only, without hammer action, for drilling wood, metal and plastic and for driving screws with suitable accessories.

What it is for

Used for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate, for drilling wood and panels and for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill.

How to use it

Fit the bit suited to the material and tighten it fully in the chuck. Select the speed: low for large diameters and metals, high for small diameters and wood. Drill perpendicular to the surface, without forcing, with the workpiece clamped, and wear safety glasses.
