What it is

The straight grinder, or die grinder, has its spindle in line with the body, for working with burrs, mounted points and abrasive tips on metals and moulds, in tight spots.
What it is for
Used for polishing surfaces, for grinding parts and sharpening tools and for deburring metal after cutting and drilling.
How to use it
Choose an accessory with a shank suited to the collet and push it fully in, tightening well. Do not exceed the maximum speed marked on the accessory. Start it running free, then bring it lightly to the workpiece. Wear safety glasses, a face shield, gloves and hearing protection, and remove the battery or unplug before changing accessories.
