What it is

Glove A.Box Mid Pro mid-cut safety shoe from Diadora Utility, item 701.183120, class S3S. Water-repellent suede cowhide upper, 200 J aluminium toecap, K-Sole Ultralite anti-perforation insert, EVA midsole and HRO nitrile rubber outsole. The A.Box system combines side ventilation holes and an Ariatex membrane; the removable insole contains activated carbon. Fit 11, colours black or asphalt grey/fluo orange, sizes 35-48.

A safety boot is an ankle-high safety shoe with a protective toecap that supports the ankle and, depending on its class, is penetration-resistant, water-repellent or ESD.

What it is for

Used to protect feet on site and on the shop floor against crushing, penetration and slipping.

How to use it

Choose the class according to the job's risks (for example S3 for construction sites, ESD for electronic components, chainsaw-protective for chainsaw work) and try on the size with your work socks. Lace up to the top to support the ankle properly. Clean and dry away from heat sources, and replace when the toecap, sole or upper is damaged.
