What it is
The oil alarm device is an oil level detection system for oil separators: it uses an ATEX/EX-approved probe/float switch and an audible and visual alarm to alert managers, designers and technicians when the intervention threshold is reached. The probe floats on water but not on hydrocarbons; the control panel signals the status and offers dedicated relay outputs.
The oil separator is a unit that retains oils and light hydrocarbons from the wastewater of yards, workshops and washing areas, letting the treated water flow out.
What it is for
Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
How to use it
Install it upstream of the discharge point on a levelled bedding, with the inlet and outlet connected in the direction of flow. Inspect it regularly and have the collected oil removed before it fills the chamber. Recovered oil is disposed of as special waste and must not be discharged into the sewer.
