The sliding bevel, or adjustable square, consists of a blade that rotates and is locked with a screw or a lever on a handle, to measure and transfer any angle.
What it is for
Used for measuring on site and in the workshop and for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.
How to use it
Unlock the blade, rest the handle against the reference side and bring the blade against the other side of the angle. Lock it and transfer the angle to the workpiece, for example for a bevel cut. Check from time to time that the lock holds, and do not use it as a lever.
