Thread pitch gauge, 58 blades Fervi C058

What it is

The Fervi C058 58-blade thread pitch gauge is a pocket measuring instrument for quickly identifying the pitch of threads. Thanks to its 58 blades it covers a wide range of profiles: metric blades from 0.25 to 6 mm with a 60° angle, inch blades from 4 to 62 TPI at 55° and gas blades from 8 to 28 TPI at 55°, so the correct thread can be recognised in moments.

The thread pitch gauge is a set of toothed leaves, folding into a holder, used to identify the pitch of a thread.

What it is for

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.

How to use it

Place each leaf against the thread until the teeth fit without gaps: the number engraved on the leaf is the pitch. Clean the thread first. After use, fold the leaves away and store the instrument protected from moisture.
