Chuck with rack-and-pinion clamping Fervi M081/13

What it is

The Fervi M081/13 rack-and-pinion chuck is a machine tool accessory that locks the tool by means of a geared chuck key. This clamping system ensures a robust, secure grip, particularly valued in the most demanding machining operations where maximum tool stability is required.

The chuck is the part that clamps the bit or tool on the machine spindle; it may be a keyed rack-type chuck, a keyless self-tightening chuck or a tool holder with a specific shank.

What it is for

Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clean the spindle, fit the chuck and insert the tool fully. Tighten firmly, using the key if provided, and check that it runs true without wobble. Remove the key before starting the machine.
