What it is
The Fervi S004 ultrasonic thickness gauge is a non-destructive electronic instrument that measures the thickness of materials using ultrasonic technology. With a measuring range of 1.0 to 225.0 mm, an accuracy of ± 0.1 mm and a 4-digit LCD display, it allows reliable checks without needing access to both sides of the workpiece. Its compact size (126 x 68 x 23 mm) and battery power (2 x 1.5 V AA) make it easy to use in the field.
Distance measuring tools include tape measures, long surveyor's tapes, measuring wheels, calipers, feeler gauges and ranging poles for measuring lengths, thicknesses and distances on site and in the workshop.

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship, for inspecting plant, pipework and structures and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Choose the tool according to the measurement: tape measure or long tape for lengths, measuring wheel for long distances, caliper, micrometer or feeler gauge for thicknesses and diameters. Place the zero exactly on the starting point, keep the tape taut and straight and read perpendicular to the scale. Clean and dry the instrument after use and protect calipers and micrometers from knocks.
