What it is

Abrasive compounds are pastes or bars of various grits which, used with a soft buffing wheel, smooth and polish metals and other surfaces.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before treatment and for polishing surfaces.

How to use it

Apply a small quantity to the rotating wheel and work with light pressure, starting with the coarsest compound and finishing with the finest. Clean the workpiece and change the wheel between compounds. Wear safety glasses and gloves.
