What it is
The Fervi 3/B/40 collet chuck holder is a machine tool accessory for use with ER 32 collets, for precise clamping of tools during machining. Balanced at 2000 rpm, it ensures smooth operation at the intended rotation speeds, which is useful for machining quality and machine life.
Collets are elastic sleeves that clamp small-diameter tools or workpieces. The collet chuck is the holder that houses them and is closed with a nut.
What it is for
Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill, for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.
How to use it
Choose the collet of the tool diameter, as each collet covers only a small range of sizes. Insert it in the collet chuck, push in the tool for the length required and tighten the nut with the wrench. Keep the collet and seat clean and free of chips.
