What it is

The Fervi ST2A19.25 taper-shank twist drill bit is a cutting tool intended for drilling metals on machine tools fitted with a taper fitting. The diameter of Ø 19.25 mm and the 118° point angle ensure a versatile, effective cutting geometry on different metal materials. The hardness of between 700 and 740 HV contributes to cutting-edge wear resistance, while compliance with DIN 345 guarantees the standard dimensions required for reliable professional use.

What it is for

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
