What it is
The Fervi ST2A21.75 drill bit is a taper-shank cutting tool designed for drilling Ø 21.75 mm holes in metals. The cutting-edge geometry with a 118° point angle promotes steady penetration into steel, while the HV 700-740 hardness keeps the cutting edge sharp even under stress. It is manufactured to DIN 345, a guarantee of interchangeability and dimensional accuracy.

What it is for
Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.
How to use it
Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
