Abrasive spiral bands Fervi CRD1038/080C

What it is

Fervi CRD1038/080C wrapped abrasive rollers are cylindrical industrial abrasives measuring 10x38 mm with grit 80, suited to medium-grit finishing in narrow, hard-to-reach areas. Fitted on a mandrel and rotary tool, they allow holes, cavities and internal profiles to be evened out after roughing, with an action balanced between stock removal and surface finish. The product is certified Italian-made and complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC with CE marking.

An abrasive sleeve is a ring of abrasive cloth fitted onto a sleeve holder; together with shank-mounted abrasive points and rolls, it is used for grinding, deburring and finishing in tight areas.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing and for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing.

How to use it

Slide the sleeve onto the holder and lock it, or insert the shank of the abrasive roll fully into the collet of the straight grinder. Do not exceed the stated maximum speed and work with light pressure, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat the workpiece. Wear safety glasses and gloves, and replace the abrasive when it is worn.
