Weldon-shank core drill Fervi F011/12

What it is

The Fervi F011/12 is a professional annular cutter with a diameter of Ø 12 mm, designed for making small, precise holes in metal. Even in small diameters, annular cutting produces a clean hole with low power draw, while the Weldon shank ensures a stable fit and quick tool changes on pillar drills and magnetic units.

Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.

What it is for

Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in metalworking.

How to use it

Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
