What it is
The Fervi F002/14L annular cutter, with a diameter of Ø 14 mm, is a long-series annular cutter designed to open calibrated-size holes by removing only the ring of material. The Weldon shank allows immediate, play-free fitting on magnetic and pillar drills, an essential condition for obtaining concentric holes with clean walls when working on considerable thicknesses.
Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.
What it is for
Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in metalworking.
How to use it
Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
