Bimetal hole saw, variable pitch, Fervi 0712/035

What it is

The Fervi 0712/035 hole saw is a cutting accessory for medium-diameter round holes with a clean finish. With Ø 35 mm and a bi-metal body, it combines the strength of the support with the resistance of the cutting teeth, while the variable tooth pitch ensures a regular cut and less burr formation. The product meets Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, carries the CE mark and is made with certified Italian manufacture.

Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.

What it is for

Used for drilling wood and panels, for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and for running services through walls, floors and suspended ceilings.

How to use it

Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
