Set of chrome combination spanners with articulated ratchet head Fervi 0690/12P

What it is

The Fervi 0690/12P chrome flexible ratchet-head combination spanner set is a range of twelve chrome combination spanners with a polygonal ratchet ring end and a flexible head, in sizes from 8 to 19 mm (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 mm). The ratchet speeds up tightening, while the flexible joint lets you angle the head to reach otherwise awkward spots. The set has a gross weight of 2.08 kg and a pack size of 220x250x60 mm.

A ratcheting combination spanner has an open end on one side and a ratcheting ring on the other, for running nuts without removing the spanner at every turn.

What it is for

Used for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Set the direction of rotation with the lever, if fitted, or by turning the spanner over, and fit the ring fully onto the nut. Turn it with short back-and-forth movements, using the open end where the ring will not fit. Do not extend the handle and do not strike the spanner with a hammer, as this damages the mechanism.
