What it is
The Fervi 0238 wood hole saw set is an assortment of hole saws for cutting circular holes in wood and similar materials, with diameters Ø 22, 29, 32, 38, 44, 51, 57 and 67 mm. The wide choice of sizes makes it possible to cut holes for electrical boxes, pipe passages, hinges and handles with a single set. The gross weight is 0.51 kg and the pack measures 190x105x45 mm.
Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.
What it is for
Used for drilling wood and panels and for running services through walls, floors and suspended ceilings.
How to use it
Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
