What it is
The Fischer ZYKON FZA undercut anchor is a high-performance fixing based on the undercut principle, for reliable anchorages in concrete. With an M12 thread, it requires a hole diameter d0 of 18 mm and is suitable for C20/25 concrete, with European Technical Assessment ETA 98/0004 and C1 / C2 seismic certification; tightening is carried out with a 19 mm spanner. It is supplied in a box of 10 pieces.
The undercut anchor is a steel anchor that engages in an enlargement of the hole at the bottom, to withstand very high loads and also dynamic stresses, especially in concrete.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill the hole with the drill bit indicated, clean it carefully, insert the anchor and expand it or make it engage in the undercut with the dedicated tool. Fix the part and tighten the nut to the stated torque. Follow the installation instructions strictly.
