What it is
The Fischer compressed-air hole cleaning gun is an accessory tool dedicated to chemical anchoring, designed to remove dust and debris from holes before installation. It is suitable for holes with a diameter of between Ø 20 and 25 mm and is supplied in a box in a pack of 1 piece. Proper hole cleaning is a decisive step in ensuring optimum adhesion of the resin.
The blow-out pump is a manual bellows with a long nozzle that pushes air to the bottom of the hole to clear out the dust; it is also available in a compressed-air version, in gun form.
What it is for
Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Insert the nozzle fully to the bottom of the hole and blow with several strokes, alternating with brushing. With compressed air, clean, oil-free air is needed. Wear safety glasses and a dust mask, because dust comes out of the hole. The hole is ready when no more dust comes out when blowing.
