What it is
The Fischer Fis Ext extensions are accessories for chemical anchors, supplied as a content of 10 extensions of 1 metre each, with diameter Ø 9 / 15 mm. Packed in a polybag in a quantity of 10 pieces, they make it possible to dispense the resin deep down and in long holes, ensuring uniform filling right to the bottom.
The extension is a rod or tube that lengthens a tool or accessory to reach the bottom of a deep hole; the adapter is a fitting that allows parts with different connections to be joined.
What it is for
Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Fit or screw it in fully, with no play, before starting work. Check that the connection is compatible with the tool and with the accessory to be connected. The connection should be rechecked if working for a long time, because vibration can loosen it.
