Sealing plug DuoSeal Fischer

What it is

The DuoSeal sealing anchor Fischer is a watertight fixing designed for applications in damp environments and on tiled surfaces. It is sized for a hole diameter of 8 mm (with a tolerance of 8.0-8.45 mm), a TX30 drive and a fixing length of 48 mm, with an anchorage depth of 8 mm. It offers a sealing depth between 5 and 14 mm and accommodates tile thicknesses between 5 and 10 mm, with a maximum fixable thickness of 16 mm. It is paired with 6.0 x 70 mm wood and chipboard screws in A2 stainless steel and is supplied in a blister pack of 2 pieces.

Light-duty wall plugs are nylon or plastic plugs, also with a screw or hook, that expand in the hole to fix light and medium-weight items to walls.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.

How to use it

Choose the diameter and length according to the substrate and load, then drill with a bit of the same diameter as the plug. Clean the dust out of the hole, insert the plug flush with the wall and drive the screw until tight, without letting the plug spin in the hole. In hollow bricks, drill without hammer action.
