What it is
Residual current circuit breaker Friggeri FR-DP463/300A under the Friggeri brand. Product designed for electricians and health and safety officers, for electrical installation and electrical protection work.
Protection circuit breakers are mounted in distribution boards: the miniature circuit breaker trips on overloads and short circuits, the residual current device cuts the supply when current leaks to earth, and the RCBO does both.
What it is for
Used to power construction sites where mains supply is unavailable or insufficient, in the installation and maintenance of residential and industrial electrical systems and for the electrical protection of people and installations.
How to use it
They are installed by a qualified electrician, with the line de-energised, on the board's DIN rail and with a rating suited to the line to be protected. Test the residual current device periodically with the test button. If the breaker trips, find and remove the cause before resetting it.
