The torque screwdriver is a screwdriver that tightens to a controlled torque; on the digital version the torque is read on a display.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter and for manual work in the workshop and on site.

How to use it

Set the required torque and fit the bit that matches the screw recess. Drive the screw with a continuous motion until the torque signal is reached, then stop. Do not use it to loosen seized screws, and have its calibration checked periodically.
