The grease gun, or lubricator, is a manual, cordless or compressed-air tool that forces grease from a cartridge or reservoir to the grease nipple of bearings, joints and pins.
What it is for
Used for lubricating moving parts, bearings and slideways and for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery.
How to use it
Load the grease specified by the manufacturer and bleed the air until grease comes out of the nozzle. Clean the nipple, engage the nozzle and operate the control until the required amount has been delivered, without overdoing it so as not to damage the seals. Wipe off the excess grease and store the gun with the nozzle protected from dust.
