Pressure washer HDS 18/18-4 Classic, Kärcher

What it is

Kärcher HDS 18/18-4 Classic (1.030-915.0) professional hot water pressure washer, special class, three-phase 400 V with 11 kW of connected load. It works from 50 to 180 bar with a flow rate from 870 to 1730 l/h and heats the water up to 80 °C with a diesel burner, 30 l tank. It weighs 210 kg, has dry-run protection and SDS damping and can be set up to work with two lances.

A high-pressure washer is a machine, cold or hot water, that forces a powerful jet through a lance and nozzle to degrease and clean vehicles, machinery and surfaces.

What it is for

Used for high-pressure washing of heavily soiled surfaces, vehicles and machinery, for industrial washing of parts, machinery and surfaces and for cleaning vehicles, inside and out.

How to use it

Connect the water supply, observing the minimum flow required, bleed the air and then start; on hot water models, also check the burner fuel. Hold the lance with both hands, start at a distance from the surface and never aim the jet at people, cables or tyres. At the end of the job, release the pressure, check the pump oil and filters and protect the machine from frost.
