Leak detection dye Heylo

What it is

Heylo leak detection dye by Dantherm Group: yellow tracer dye, a water-soluble powder, in a tub of 227 g net. Dissolved in the water of the area to be checked, it colours it conspicuously, so its path can be followed to the point where it escapes, without any instruments. The Heylo series also exists in red, green, blue and in a fluorescent version visible under UV light.

Dye, colourant and fluorescent tracer are liquids introduced into a circuit or pipe to make the path or the point of a leak visible; some are visible only under ultraviolet light.

What it is for

Used in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and for inspecting plant, pipework and structures.

How to use it

Pour the stated quantity into the circuit or the water and observe the points where the liquid appears, using ultraviolet light if needed. Use according to the instructions and doses, wearing gloves, and avoid releasing it into the environment.
