Eyewash kit in wall-mounted case with sterile solution 500 ml Carvel

What it is

Green shockproof polypropylene case, with wall-mounting bracket and carrying handle, containing what is needed for an emergency eye wash and the dressing that follows. Inside are a 500 ml bottle of sterile solution with eyewash cap, an empty 500 ml bottle, two adhesive eye pads, sterile gauze, Lister scissors, non-woven adhesive tape, tissues, a small mirror and instructions. It closes with two rotating clips and fits in a department or on board transport vehicles.

The emergency shower or eyewash station is a fixed or portable device for immediately rinsing the eyes and face, or the whole body, after splashes of chemicals or dust.

How to use it

Install it in a marked, unobstructed location close to where hazardous products are used, so that it can be reached within seconds. In the event of a splash, open the flow and rinse for a long time with the eyelids held open, then see a doctor. Check the operation periodically and change the water in portable models.

Safe use

Check the expiry date of the sterile solution periodically and replace used gauze and pads straight away. After eye washing, the injured person must still be seen by a doctor.
