Marking spray is a can of bright-coloured paint, also fluorescent, that leaves clearly visible lines and marks on ground, asphalt, concrete and wood for setting out sites and surveys.

What it is for

Used for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.

How to use it

Shake the can well and clear the spot of dust. Spray from a few centimetres away with regular passes, also with the dedicated can holder; many cans are designed to be used upside down as well. Work in a ventilated place, away from flames. After use, turn the can upside down and spray until only gas comes out, to clear the nozzle.
