Prefabricated module in assembly kit Flat-Pack AMES

What it is

This is the kit supply format for the Serie 1000 and Serie M1 prefabricated modules. Each module is packed with all the structural and services parts and with the components needed for assembly; some parts of the structure act as packaging, and the pack is enclosed in a sturdy galvanised steel perimeter guard.

What it is for

It reduces transport volumes by up to 80%: a trailer truck can carry up to 8 packed M1 modules, in 2 packs of 4 units, or up to 10 Serie 1000 modules, in 2 packs of 5. Transport costs fall accordingly, especially for deliveries abroad and for supplies of many modules. For a single unit, on the other hand, the already assembled module is the better choice.

How it is assembled

On long journeys the packs are locked together with the star-block system, which prevents lateral sliding; on the Serie M1 the corner blocks with ISO holes are secured to the truck with the twist lock system. At the destination the module is assembled in a short time with simple hand tools and lifting equipment, even by non-specialised personnel, following the instructions supplied, and it performs identically to modules delivered already assembled.

Before you order

In your request, state the series (1000 or M1), how many modules you need and with what fittings (electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning systems) and the delivery destination; say whether lifting equipment and personnel for assembly are available on site. The modules are placed on concrete slabs, foundation kerbs or blocks: the calculation and execution of the foundations are the customer's responsibility, and permits from the local authorities depend on use and size.
