Fibre-cement spacers Panalex

What it is

PANACEM by Panalex are asbestos-free fibre-cement spacers placed between the reinforcement and the formwork to ensure the concrete cover. They have the same expansion coefficient as concrete and bond to it without leaving gaps; they withstand compression according to DIN 1045 and are in fire class A2. The range includes single and linear models, such as Knochen, trihedral, perforated round and snake, for concrete covers from 20 to 70 mm.

Formwork is temporary moulding in timber, plywood or metal that shapes fresh concrete until it hardens, together with the related closing and propping accessories.

What it is for

Used for building formwork for concrete pours and for pouring concrete, from formwork to vibration.

How to use it

Erect the panels and boards on the setting-out lines, treat the faces with release agent and seal the joints well so that grout does not leak. Connect them with tensioners and clamps and prop them so they do not deform under the pressure of the pour. Strike only when the concrete has reached the required strength, then clean the panels and stack them under cover.
